Why read-only keys?
Because Glow only needs to look. A read-only key can’t move money, change settings or delete anything, so even in the worst case it can only show numbers. Glow checks every key’s permissions when you save it.
What if a provider has no read-only key?
Glow tells you (OpenRouter and Google Ads are the two today), marks the connection “not read-only”, and limits itself at the network layer to the exact read endpoints it needs.
